There seems to be an epidemic of coughs, sneezes and runny noses at the moment. To work with the body’s immune system, hold the acupressure points over the shoulder, either side of the neck, for 5 minutes, 2 or 3 times a day.This will help fight off the virus and also aid detoxification, the muscles here often feel achey and sore when we have a cold, so holding these points will release any tension here as well. Echinacea, vitamin C and zinc are also great in supporting the immune system.
